Hello Blog.  I can’t believe it’s been three months since writing to you!  But, that’s how it goes sometimes in the maelstrom of life.  The life gets in the way of the ‘spirit of the pen’.

At the moment I’m just waiting – and it’s important to recognise that stories don’t turn into books over night – well, maybe they do if you’re a famous star of theatre and stage already!

But, if you are the one that’s waiting to see your story become a book, let me tell you that it’s worth the wait with Austin Macauley.  If the story has a high illustrative demand, then you have to learn to wait for the really astonishing illustrative outcomes from AM.  I love them in my first book ‘TT OUT LIKE A BULLET’ and am so looking forward to the illustrations of my second book with AM ‘TT AND THE SNOWMOON’.  Every picture tells a story they say and believe me this story is highly dependent on the atmospheric illustrations the script demands.

As a writer one goes through the stages of impatience, but, if I could suggest that you just ‘let it be’ knowing that it’s in the hands of the wonderful illustrators/artists and, dare I say it, the universe!  Yes, I believe that what you think about you bring about, so think fantastic outcomes and, they will appear all at the right time.

Meanwhile, it’s been nice to be back speaking the thoughts of my mind.
